Acting Headshots
My setup for Actor Headshots may be a little unusual...with good reason. I'm a working actor as well, and set up my shoots based on my own experiences in front of the camera. You're in good hands, let's talk.
For my basic headshots, I only charge $425 and offer 1.5-2 hours per shoot, with wardrobe advice, multiple looks, multiple settings, both in-studio and outdoor, and average 100-200 photos per shoot. I like to take the extra time on set to make sure that you're relaxed and that everything is right, so sometimes I run a little long. As a photographer since 2003 and working actor since 2001, I also have some invaluable and interesting tricks about taking good photos that I'll share with you. After the shoot, I'll take a couple of hours to process all of your photos and get them uploaded to dropbox, usually available within 24-48 hours.
If you want any photos touched up, I specialize in bringing out the eyes, cleaning up the skin, removing flyaways, and really making the picture pop...without making it look "Photoshop". Because you want your photo to stand out, I do recommend getting at least one photo done. Retouches are available for $25 per photo. All edited photos are uploaded to your previous dropbox link in multiple sizes and crops; 1 full-resolution for prints, 1 sized for e-mail/facebook/website, 1 cropped and sized for the casting sites.
I ask for a $150 deposit to lock in a shoot appointment, and we can handle that over the phone when we talk.
